We started our portrait session with business portraits utilizing the urban scenes of Corvallis. We captured softer light and dynamic shadows by shooting in Golden Hour Light. We used different backgrounds to to create a dynamic professional business portrait feel for Austin.
After we wrapped up the business portraits, we did a look and location change and moved into the outdoors. We used beautiful natural scenes to capture a completely different side of Austin.
Photography note: Notice the consistent use of light, the complementary backgrounds, and the consistently strong compositions which frame the subject in the best possible light. What is especially difficult is maintaining proper exposures shooting directly into the sun – balancing dynamic range and light.
